Foodie Friday: The Bazaar by José Andrés

As Summer is finally coming to an end, we celebrate my Best Friends birthday at The Bazaar. I wouldn’t have it any other way, since we are five little girl possessed foodie girls.

For all the things i’m grateful for in life, I must say i’m grateful for my taste buds.
I’m even more grateful to have great friends and family who share similar taste buds.
Guess eating good food is not only genetically built into me, but also surrounded by me.

I’m incredibly blessed to have visit The Bazaar twice in my life.

Foodie Friday: Mastro’s Steakhouse

I do feel a little bit of Mastro’s in me. Hence, the outfit.
Jacket = Vintage Master
Shades = Tokyo

As Classic Jazz music overflows throughout the restaurant.
Dim lighting, simple laughter.
Mastro’s is a night of getaway from everyday life to celebrate great food with people you love.

Oysters to set the mood?

My beautiful and ever so delicious Bone-In Petite Filet

I love how it’s served on an extra hot plate, which allows me to cook my medium rare steak to medium. So fun!
STEAK HEAVEN!

Of course the Lobster mash is a perfect balance of creamy, and um…PERFECT.

At last the much anticipated buttercake! A perfect way to end the perfect meal.

Dear Mastro’s,
It’s true what they say about you.
You’ve taken my foodie heart away with you in first bite.
I love you. I adore you.
I can’t wait for my next visit.

LOVE,
AiCherie

FALL in Love

Outfit = Forever 21
Photographer = King Perez de Tagle
Location + Burbank Ranch = Special Thank you to Kelsey and Sherri

FALL in Love

As the weather cools down
little white bow on my head, like a crown
Now baby turn that frown
Upside down
Run your finger through my hair, bring me back around
As I Fall in Love
As I Fall in Love
With you…

(Hope you enjoyed my lyrics, inspired by FALL fashion, weather, feeling…)

LOVE,
AiCherie

P.S. Ever dream of owning a Pony?

World of Color

Why the frown?
Because I’m not a fan of leaving Disneyland.

Wonderful World of Color.
This water show is like nothing i’ve seen before.
Beautiful projections of numerous Disney Classics as I reminisce about childhood days.

We really do live in a World of Color.
Love the Inspiration and the Theme. Such a beautiful idea.

Before World of Color, like any little girl, I hoped back and forth between Disneyland and California Disney!

Space Mountain, my first ride of the day, and one of my favorite!

My first time on this ride.
All I can think about was Toy Story 3.

Yes you guessed it. I was singing “it’s a small world after all” the entire ride.

Outfit + Vintage +Brown Chanel Bag = Green Military Inspired 2010 Fall Fashion

Lost in Translation

Famous Busy Crazy Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo, Japan.

Am I Lost in Translation? Maybe just a bit…

I’ve alway wanted to do a Photo Session here on this Famous Busy Crazy street. Another thing to do… to Check off!
I absolutely love Tokyo. Everytime I’m there I always find new adventures. The surrounding changes; fashion revolves, music enlightens, new restaurants in same locations, old restaurants with friendly smiles…the List goes on and on…

Spotted in the background billboard is Kana Nishiro. She’s my current favorite JPOP artist. I have her album memorized.

Flying without Wings

Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now, wish right now
-Hayley Williams

Here I am in Pheonix, ARIZONA.

One HOT City!

Everytime I fly back and fourth, from LA to Tokyo, i’ve always dreamt about photoshooting with a plane and how impossible it’d be to be able to stand on top of a wing.
Well…I guess nothing in life is impossible.
God has blessed with such an amazing journey. All of which I am grateful for.
I will always BELIEVE.

Captain AiCherie, maybe someday…

Special Thank you to Barry for making all this happen. And the U.S. Air Force!
I’m Flying without Wings.

Foodie Friday: The Boiler

Top + Skirt = Vintage
Ring = XXI
Photography = King Perez De Tagle + AiCherie (Me)

This Foodie Friday is very special because i’ve been invited to a private event at The Boiler

To start off the evening light and fresh, Chef Ritter didn’t hesitate to bring out a batch of Fresh Gold Band Oyster imported from Louisiana.
Extra Plump and Juicy, a little bit of Raw Oyster Heaven in my mouth.

This second round of oyster is extra special. I’m not going to tell you what’s in it. You’ll have to find out for yourself.

I think i’m on Oyster number?? I lost count.

Next up, FIsh Chowder. Tangy and full of flavor.

Chef Ritter hard at work.
My favorite part about about dining at The Boiler, is not only do you get Fresh High Quality Seafood and Authentic Cajun dishes, but you also get to watch Chef Ritter prepare your food. Here at The Boiler Customers come first meaning you get to adjust you Spice levels.
After traveling back and forth from Tokyo, i’ve become susceptible to spicy food. Chef Ritter suggested I do a Level 3 Spice, and it was just puurrfect! Neko-jita 猫舌 translates to Cat’s tongue. It’s a very common term used in Japan for people who are sensitive to Hot food.

I’m waiting very patiently.

Well, wait no more.

Cilantro Chicken

Étouffée

Jumbalaya

Chicken Gumbo

Pan Roast

All lined up and ready to be eaten by me. The Pan Roast really lives up to its Reputation, tangy yet creamy and doesn’t fight it’s flavors with the other Seafood.
Étouffée is a must try, absolutely delicious. My mom is a big fan of the Jumbalaya, Chicken Gumbo, and Cilantro Chicken (for non-seafood lovers).

I’m really full, but I always save room for dessert.
One Crème brûlée and Pecan Pie please.

Besides, how can you resist?

Special Thank you to Jackson and Chef Ritter for inviting My Friends and I into The Boiler.
I had a very memorable experience at The Boiler.

Just around the Riverwalk

I’ve fallen in Love with The Riverwalk in San Antonio Texas.
It’s a must visit if you happen to stop by that area.

After dining at Dick’s, where I ate Alligator for the first time,
my hair was vibrant and wavy, but due to the heat and humidity, it has fallen flat. Sometimes it’s perfectly fine to sport flat hair?

Walking beside the man-made area along side the natural river stream.

Dress + Pins & Needles = $68
Necklace + Bloomies = $30
Ring + Forever 21 = $5

Just around the Riverwalk, I found myself riding the Canoe, like princess Pocahontas.
Of course I was singing Just around the Riverbend, gazing off to flashing lights and friendly smiles.

Though it would take a miracle for my hair to beat the weather, I had a very memorable time at the Riverwalk. I can’t wait to return, an adventure awaits me at the Riverwalk.
